Host your own school-based "run for water"!
In April and May, 25 of the 30 schools participating in the Envision a Better World school program, will host a Run for Water mini-run on their school campus. Many of the students will be unable to attend the official Envision Financial Run for Water event on May 26, 2013. Therefore, these mini-runs provide a fun and meaningful culmination to weeks of learning about the implications of life without access to clean water. It is a great group activity for leadership students to organize, and a wonderful way to invite parents to participate in a school event.
The Run for Water Society provides a tent, running clock, race course banners, finisher ribbons, and draw prizes to enhance a school's running event, as well as providing a representative from Envision Financial and/or the Run for Water Society to address the student body.
